M. Riyaaz Rasheed is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute Management Accountants of UK (FCMA UK, GCMA), and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accounts of Sri Lanka (FCMA SL). He holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka (MBA PIM), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pure Sciences (BSc).
In a career experience spanning over 28 years, Riyaaz counts 25 years in mobile telecommunications, working for subsidiaries of multinational corporations like Millicom International Cellular SA of Luxemburg (Millicom), Emirates Telecommunication Group Company (Etisalat) and CK Hutchison Group (Hutchison).
Riyaaz started his professional career at Ernst & Young and his last assignment prior to joining Robi was as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Hutchison Telecommunications, Sri Lanka. Prior to Hutchison Telecommunications, Riyaaz also served Etisalat in Sri Lanka as its Deputy CEO/Chief Financial Officer. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Celltel Lanka Limited and Tigo Lanka Private Limited in Sri Lanka. Riyaaz has also worked in the Sri Lankan conglomerate, Hayleys Group of Companies prior to venturing into mobile telecommunications.

Shihab Ahmad took over the role of Chief Commercial Officer from January 2020. Prior to this, he was appointed as Robi’s Chief Digital Services Officer on August , 2017. He joined Robi as “Project Director – Integration” in November , 2016. He has more than 19 years of experience in corporate strategy, marketing, sales and customer care, devices, digital services and mobile financial services.
Prior to joining Robi, Shihab was the Chief Strategy Officer of Banglalink Digital Communications Limited. He also served the same organisation as Chief Commercial Officer for some time. A graduate from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Shihab completed his MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan.

Mohammed Shahedul Alam became Robi’s Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer in June, 2019. He also serves as Robi’s Company Secretary. Shahed joined Robi in July, 2010 and brings 20 years of rich experience in corporate, regulatory, legal, compliance, media and communications functions.
Shahed joined Robi as the Head of Legal in July, 2010, and was later promoted to Executive Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs in 2013. Having played a key role in Robi’s transformation, Shahed assumed additional responsibilities as the Ethics Officer of the Company and served till 2015. Prior to joining Robi, Shahed was practicing law in the UK for more than eight years. Earlier in his career, Shahed used to work with a media house in the UK.
Shahed holds a degree in law from the University of London, Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Northumbria University and Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law from the University of East London. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 and a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. Shahed is a Chartered Arbitrator and has completed Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD.

Ruhul Amin was appointed as Robi’s Chief Strategy Officer in June , 2019. Immediately before this, he was Deputy Chief Financial Officer in Robi and Financial Controller of Axiata Group. Guiding Robi through formulating its future corporate strategy, Ruhul is responsible for driving data-led digital transformation through strategic leadership and implementation of big data analytics, artificial intelligence and blockchain. He joined Robi in October, 2011.
Ruhul also worked with Axiata Group as Head of Merger & Acquisition Strategy and Special Projects. Before joining Axiata Group, Ruhul was in Robi in different roles, including that of Financial Controller.
Ruhul has been a part of Bangladesh’s rapidly growing telecoms sector for 18 years. He started his journey with Grameenphone back in 2001. He is a certified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). Ruhul received certification on INSEAD Telco Strategy, AXIATA-INSEAD Financial Leadership Development and Transition to General Management Program.
